◈ LEVELLERAcademy Seller track
Course 1 of 6 · Seller track

Open your store.

Five steps stand between you and your first listing. Here's exactly what each one asks of you — and what the verification team checks before you go live.

  1. Tell us about yourself. Your name, a working email and phone number, and where you operate from. Use your real details — this is what the verification team will check against your documents.
  2. Submit your documents. A valid ID and, where it applies, your business registration. Take clear photos of the documents themselves — not screenshots of screenshots. Blurry or cropped documents are the number-one reason applications get sent back.
  3. Build your catalog. Add your real products with real photographs of the actual items you will ship. Course 2 walks you through this properly — it matters more than anything else on this list.
  4. Complete the checklist. Your return policy, how you handle shipping, and where your payouts should go. Be honest and specific here; customers will hold you to every word.
  5. Hit send and get verified. Nothing leaves your device until you press send. Then your application goes to the LEVELLER verification team for review.

What the verification team actually checks

The four checks

  • Identity: the person on the account matches the ID on the documents.
  • Business reality: the business you describe is a real, operating business.
  • Product honesty: your catalog photos show real items you actually sell — not stock photos of things you don't have, not torn or broken goods presented as new.
  • Policy completeness: your returns and shipping terms are stated clearly, in plain language.

If something doesn't check out, the team sends your application back with a note explaining exactly what's missing. Fix it and resend — a returned application is not a rejection, it's a to-do list.

One rule above all: never list what you don't have. If you can't photograph it today and ship it tomorrow, it doesn't belong in your catalog. Marketplaces die on broken trust; LEVELLER intends to live on it.

How long does verification take?

Verification is done by real people on the LEVELLER team, not an instant robot pass. We review applications in the order they arrive and message you the moment there's a decision — approved, or sent back with notes. Make sure the email and phone number on your application are ones you actually check.
